Period Poverty
Period poverty: The limited or inadequate access to menstrual products or menstrual health education as a result of financial constraints or negative socio-cultural stigmas associated with menstruation.
See the research and resources to talk about this important issue in your community.
Take Action
Take action against poverty through the lens of PERIOD's three pillars:
SERVICE: Get period products to those who need them.
EDUCATION: Eradicate period stigma through hosting educational workshops about menstrual health
ADVOCACY: Solve this issue once and for all. Increase access period products in public spaces, and let's get rid of the tax on menstrual products.
